About the Program BA in Sanskrit

BA in Sanskrit is a 3-year duration undergraduate course in Sanskrit. The course covers Sanskrit Prose, Poetry, and Grammar along with certain sections of the Bhagavad Gita and Mahabharata. This course also teaches students to critically analyze various Sanskrit texts and Literature. 

Through this course, the candidates will not only learn about various literary works in Sanskrit, but they will also learn a lot about our Indian Culture and Traditions.

To be eligible for a BA in Sanskrit course, a candidate must complete 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board or university. The candidates must study and pass Sanskrit at the school level as a compulsory subject.

What is the BA in Sanskrit Admission Process

Registration: Registration date opens up annually and announcements are made in advance by the colleges. Registration will be done online where a profile needs to be created.

Filling up of application form: Once a profile has been created, log in and start the application process. Fill up the application form with past educational achievements, job experience, internship projects done, etc.

Scan and upload documents: Documents like mark sheets, photographs, signatures, and transfer certificates must be scanned and uploaded online to the portal. All documents must be in a specific format and size only to be accepted.
