B Pharm Lateral Entry

B Pharm lateral entry is a process that allows students to skip the first year of the course and enrol straight into the second year of the regular course. B Pharma lateral entry only applies to students with a diploma in pharmacy or an equivalent degree. Thus, diploma in pharmacy holders may become pharmacy graduates with just three years of further education.

B Pharm Lateral Entry Eligibility

Students with a D Pharm degree but want to continue their pharmacy education may apply for B Pharmacy lateral entry. The B Pharm lateral entry eligibility differs slightly from the regular B Pharm course. Listed below are the common eligibility requirements for B Pharm lateral entry admission. 

Candidates must have completed the three-year diploma in pharmacy course before applying. 

Most institutions need 60% in their three-year D Pharm program.

PCI should also recognise the diploma in pharmacy course.

B Pharm Lateral Entry Admission Process

The admission to the B Pharm Lateral Entry program is based on the diploma in pharmacy aggregate and the scores obtained in the entrance exam. The following is a list of B.Pharm lateral entry admission processes.   

To complete the application form, the applicant must include their name, date of birth, and father's and mother's names.

Applicants must also provide digital versions of their credentials and other required documents. 

Candidates must meet the institute-based minimum qualifying score in the entrance exam. 

After the merit list is out, candidates must apply for B Pharm lateral entry admission.

The application procedure is incomplete until the candidates pay the application fee stipulated by the institution.
