B.Sc Hons in Microbiology

B.Sc. Hons. Microbiology is a 3-year full-time undergraduate course in Microbiology. Eligibility for the course is 10+2 or an equivalent examination in a science stream from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 55% of marks. Most of the colleges offer B.Sc. Hons. Microbiology course in various states of India. A Government, Private and Deemed universities also offer this course. Every college has their own eligibility criteria, admission procedure, syllabus, fees structure, and placement training. In this course, students study major topics include Basic microscopy and instrumentation, Macromolecular structure and analysis, Principles of Immunology, Principles of Transmission genetics, Recombinant DNA technology, Computational biology, and Bio-informatics.
