About PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering Admission

A Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering is an advanced academic program that prepares students for careers in research, teaching, and development in the field of electronics and communication engineering. The program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in various areas of electronics and communication engineering, including digital signal processing, communication systems, control systems, microelectronics, VLSI, and photonics.

The program typically requires students to complete a set of core courses, elective courses, and a research project. The core courses cover advanced topics in mathematics, signal and system analysis, advanced communication systems, advanced digital signal processing, and control systems. Elective courses allow students to specialize in a particular area of electronics and communication engineering, such as wireless communication, photonics, or microelectronics.

At GLA University, graduates of a Ph.D. program in electronics and communication engineering are well-prepared for careers in academia, government, and industry. They can work as professors, researchers, engineers, and consultants in a variety of fields, including telecommunications, aerospace, defence, and electronics manufacturing. They can also pursue careers in research and development, where they can apply their knowledge and skills to develop new technologies and products in the field of electronics and communication engineering.

Why Study PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering?

Electronics and communication engineering change people's lives by making them more efficient, and this alone may entice them to pursue this path.

This doctorate program promotes critical thinking and market research, both of which are life-saving skills.

PhD Electronics and Communication Engineering educates students on materials and component technology, electro-optics, circuit and system design, and biomedical engineering.

Electronics courses, which deal with information technology, coding, and design, help students understand current technological trends better than other streams.

A PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering can earn between 8 and 10 LPA per year.

PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering: Eligibility Criteria

A regular MTech degree from a university with a minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10 is required for a Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in the respective branch. GATE/NET qualified students will be given preference.

BE/ B Tech (ECE or relevant areas of Electronics Engineering) (minimum 60 percent), and ME/ M. Tech /MS (ECE or Instrumentation or Measurements or Signal Processing or Embedded Systems or VLSI) with a minimum of 60 percent marks or grade point average from any accredited Indian or Foreign University.

PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering: Admission Process

Candidates will be chosen through an Entrance Test, which will be followed by an interview. The Entrance Exam will be held again in the first or second week of July.
