BSc Environmental Science Course Details

Bachelor of Science or in Environmental Science is an undergraduate course that aims to impart knowledge to eligible candidates on sustainable development, ecological sustainability, environmental health, and many more. This course is specially meant for the students who wish to have a clear understanding of various environmental issues and the measures which can be undertaken to protect the environment. Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science has a total duration of 3 years. It consists of 6 semesters with a duration of 6 months each. For distance learning programs, the minimum duration is 3 years while the maximum duration is around 6 years. Some of the important subjects in the course include Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, Social Science, and Technology. During the entire course, the students are trained to develop a scientific understanding of the environment and investigate various global environmental issues. BSc Environmental Science Admission Process

Counseling/ Interview: Some institutes call for an interview, and some may call for counseling, where the candidate has to choose the course, get their documents verified, and pay the initial amount.

BSc Environmental Science Eligibility

ITobe eligible for a B.Sc in Environmental Science, the students are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

He/ She must pass their 10+2 examination in science subjects from a recognized board.

The student must also have a minimum of 50% marks in both the 10th and 12th examinations. Certain relaxation of marks will be given to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates.
