BFA full form is Bachelor of Fine Arts. BFA course is a 3-4 year undergraduate course depending on the specialization. Bachelor of Fine Arts deals with visual, performing or fine arts such as painting, animation or pottery. BFA is also known as Visual arts in some cases.

BFA Eligibility Criteria 

All candidates, who have cleared Standard XII in any stream from a recognised board, meet Bachelor of Fine Arts eligibility criteria. Although, there is usually no other set criteria, but some universities/ colleges may also demand a minimum percentage (usually 50 – 60%) that candidates need to secure in Class 12 to get admission in BFA course. Apart from this, preference at the time of admission is sometimes given to candidates who have studied Arts/ Humanities in Class 12 and have some basic knowledge of the Fine Arts subject which they are looking to pursue.
